Up for grabs is an A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Soirée Ref. 160.029.
An early-2000s Lange 1 featuring a 38.5mm white gold case paired with the integrated white gold Wellendorff bracelet. Production is believed to be no greater than approximately 75 pieces.
The highlight is the white mother-of-pearl dial. Depending on light and angle, subtle pink, blue, green, and red tones emerge across the surface. This particular dial displays a pronounced diagonal ripple pattern, catching light from nearly every direction.
All mother-of-pearl Lange 1 variants received their own movement designation Calibre L901.4, due to the slightly thicker dial construction. As a result, the hand stack and case dimensions were subtly modified. Otherwise, the movement retains everything expected from traditional Lange finishing: Glashütte striping, hand engraving, and beautifully executed anglage.
The integrated bracelet design removes the traditional lugs while preserving the classic 38.5mm Lange 1 proportions.
The white gold case remains in excellent condition with no major signs of wear.
The bracelet features removable links and micro-adjustment within the clasp, currently fitting approximately a 7.75” wrist.
Accompanied by an A. Lange & Söhne Extract of Archives only. No box or original accessories.
