A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 “Floral” – Ref. 112.046
Up for grabs is one of the most elusive Lange 1 variants ever made: the Lange 1 “Floral”.
This reference 112.046 in 38.5mm size, made for the Japanese market in 2007 as part of a limited edition of 25 sets—each comprising a Lange 1 (112.046) and its counterpart in the Little Lange 1 size (111.046).
This model features a solid gold dial intricately hand engraved with a floral motif. The pattern is the same base motif used on the balance cocks since 1994. Since each dial is hand engraved, each one is unique. The subdials are decorated with concentric circles with thin golden borders, further contrasting the floral engravings.
The caseback is equally striking: a solid gold hunter-style cover engraved with the Glashütte coat of arms, including the sundial and twin hammers, all framed by a deep hand-hammered finish.
The watch comes complete with ALS boxes, manual, warranty papers with matching numbers and dated in 2008. The watch is also accompanied by its original ALS strap as well as ALS rose gold buckle.
A true collector’s piece from Lange’s most experimental era.
