Bamford Rolex Sea-Dweller ref. 116600 “SD4K, Vintage Inspired Modded”

Up for grabs is a Rolex Sea-Dweller

This is a Bamford Watch Department customized/modded watch based on Rolex 116600 SD4K platform. Bamford has been sold recently and no longer customized Rolex or Patek watches, so this is not a watch you can order any longer.

This particular watch has had “vintage” inspired mods.

The crown guards have been modified to “PCG” style crown guards.

Shiny ceramic bezel insert has been replaced with matte insert with red triangle.

The modern style dial has been replaced with “matte” dial and painted on plots with “patina” look. The print “sea-dweller” is in red as well as “BAMFORD” is in red above it.

The hands were replaced with “gilt” style hands

Case and bracelet have been coated with titanium nitrite (similar to DLC) to get a brushed gray look throughout.

Caseback is also signed “bamford watch department”

The watch comes with Bamford box and warranty card (not filled nor dated).

The bracelet’s clasp show signs of wear and desk diving scratches. There are enough links to fit a 8″ wrist comfortably.
