Up for grabs is an F.P. Journe Octa Chronographe Ref. “C.”
Produced only between 2001 and 2008, the Octa Chronographe remains one of the rarest and most technically important early Journe models. Examples with rose gold movements were made only between 2004 and 2008.
Just 35 watches were produced in this configuration: 38mm platinum case, white gold (grey) dial, and rose gold movement.
The Octa Chronographe was the world’s first wristwatch chronograph to combine a large date and flyback function with a power reserve exceeding 120 hours.
This example is presented in excellent pre-owned condition with no dings, dents, or notable scratches.
The original white gold dial retains the attractive early grainy texture characteristic of mid-2000s production, paired with original hands.
The watch is powered by the transitional Calibre 1300.2, produced approximately between 2004 and 2007. In 2007, the movement was renamed 1300.3 following the transition from bi-directional to uni-directional winding.
It is fitted on its original matte grey ostrich F.P. Journe strap with the original platinum buckle. Alternate strap colors or materials are available upon request.
Offered with F.P. Journe boxes and the original warranty card. This watch was also serviced in 2022 by F.P. Journe and comes with the receipt from that service.
