Up for grabs is an F.P. Journe Octa Perpétuelle Anniversaire Tokyo Ref. “OP.”
Although aesthetically similar to the Octa Calendrier, this model is fundamentally different. The OP was produced exclusively for the Tokyo Anniversary edition and features brand’s first perpetual calendar complication, rather than the annual calendar found in the Calendrier Ref. “Q.”
This is the only configuration in which the OP was ever produced, with a total of just 99 pieces made worldwide.
The model was introduced between 2009 and 2010 to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the F.P. Journe Tokyo Boutique.
The watch features a polished titanium case paired with a ruthenium-coated gold dial. It is powered by the exclusive Octa calibre 1300.3 in 18k rose gold, incorporating a perpetual calendar with retrograde date, day and month apertures, and leap-year indication integrated within the February display. The mechanism automatically accounts for months of 28, 29, 30, and 31 days. A recessed safety pusher at 8 o’clock allows for annual adjustment during the initial setup while preventing accidental activation.
This example is in excellent, barely worn condition with no scratches, dings, or dents. It is fitted on its original fuschia F.P. Journe strap, which shows very light wear.
The buckle is the original F.P. Journe rose gold.
Offered as a complete set with original boxes and the original certificate signed by François-Paul Journe and dated 2010 at the time of purchase. The serial number is also notably low within the production run.
The watch is running and functioning properly.
