Up for grabs is an F.P. Journe Octa UTC Ref. “UTC.”
This example features the 40mm platinum case paired with a salmon dial, one of the rarest configurations of the reference with only six examples are believed to have been produced.
The Octa UTC takes its name from Coordinated Universal Time and offers a unique interpretation of a second time zone complication. Rather than a conventional GMT display, it allows the wearer to visually track a chosen time zone while also accounting for daylight saving and summer time adjustments.
The painted polar view of the Earth, overlaid by a sapphire time-zone disc, adds a welcome burst of color to an otherwise restrained dial. Using the corrector at 4 o’clock, the display can be aligned to the desired reference time zone, while the +1 and −1 positions allow for seasonal time changes.
Powering the watch is the self-winding Calibre 1300.3 in solid rose gold, combining one of Journe’s most practical complications with the brand’s signature 120-hour Octa architecture.
The watch remains in excellent, unpolished condition with no dings, dents, or deep scratches.
Offered as a complete set with its original F.P. Journe boxes and warranty card.
