F.P. Journe Octa Zodiaque ref. Z “Limited Edition, Brass Movement”

Up for grabs is an F.P. Journe Octa Zodiaque in platinum.

Produced for only a brief period between 2004 and 2006, the Octa Zodiaque was limited to just 150 pieces and offered exclusively in this configuration with a platinum case and slate gray dial.

Notably, the Zodiaque is the only early-production Journe model with a brass movement that was made exclusively in a 40mm case. The only other 40mm brass-movement Journe would not appear until 2021 with the release of the 20th Anniversary Octa Réserve de Marche.

Its distinctive dial features two rotating outer rings that advance daily—one indicating the progression of the month and the other displaying the Zodiac signs.

The watch is in excellent overall condition, free of dings, dents, or deep scratches. The sapphire display back reveals the beautifully finished Calibre 1300 brass movement.

It underwent a full overhaul at F.P. Journe in May 2024 and is running flawlessly.

Accompanied by its original early F.P. Journe wooden presentation box, Zodiaque manual. It is currently fitted on a matte gray F.P. Journe strap with its original early-style white gold buckle. The watch also comes with A Certificate of Authenticity sign by Francois-Paul himself.
