Lang & Heyne Moritz Complete Calendar with Earth’s Declination

Up for grabs is a Lang & Heyne Moritz in 18k rose gold.

The 44mm case is paired with a solid-silver dial featuring printed Arabic numerals, a railway-style minute track with red five-minute markers, and flame-blued steel spade hands.

The Moritz combines a complete calendar with several less conventional indications. The day and date are displayed at 3 o’clock, the month at 9 o’clock, and the declination of the Earth at 12 o’clock through a gold-engraved and color-enameled disc. The moon phase and small seconds share the subdial at 6 o’clock.

The watch is powered by the manually wound Lang & Heyne Calibre III, operating at 2.5 Hz with a power reserve of approximately 46 hours. Visible through the display caseback, the movement features a diamond set above the escapement jewel and an engraving of Janus beside the balance.

This example comes on its original dark-brown alligator strap with a signed 18k rose-gold pin buckle. An additional worn original navy alligator strap is also included.

The watch comes complete with its original box and papers dated December 26, 2019. It returned from service at the Lang & Heyne atelier in April 2026.
