1680 reference in solid 18kt yellow gold
2.9 mil serial number circa 1971 production
This watch has been acquired by me through a friend who took it on trade from original owner’s son for a modern piece. The watch has been described as all original, untouched and as bought when new.
Excellent vintage condition case, especially for a gold piece. Very thick and even lugs. Watchs shows that it has been worn, but you can also make out original bevels on lugs. The serial and reference numbers are very crisp and fully intact.
Dial is original, tritium Nipple in blue color. Aged to a purple hue. Very nice yellow patina on plots and original hands. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s. Please note the small scratch between 5 and 6 o’clock on outer edge.
Bracelet is Rolex South American d’Agosto bracelet in solid 18kt gold. It has plenty of links to fit a large wrist, shows stretch from use.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch runs and winds as should.
