Up for grabs is a Rolex Semi-Bubbleback in solid 14kt gold
6084 reference, 34mm automatic watch
756,XXX serial number probably circa 1951 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and visible. No major dings or dents.
Dial is incredible 3-6-9 Explorer style with chapter ring. Red OFFICIALLY print, engraved coronet, original radium sword hands with blued steel Seconds hand. Dial has some color-change aging as seen in pictures to a pleasant cream color.
Dial is original, never refinished, the luminous material on dial and hands is radium, still very active next to Geiger counter. Hands and luminous plots have aged to a nice orange color.
Original Rolex Super Oyster crown
Caseback is original, stamped 6085 and crossed out with 6084 stamped below. Also, stamped 14kt inside.
Watch comes on unworn black lizard strap.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch winds well and keep good time.
