Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer in steel
6610 reference
113,0XX serial number circa 1956 production
Excellent vintage condition case without major dings or dents. Thick and even lugs. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and visible.
Dial is original, gilt Chapter Ring with radium plots, OCC. The dial has matted/radium burnt and aged to an attractive gray tone. All the print is clearly intact. All the luminous material is original radium and still active under Geiger Counter.
Hands are original, gilt with long neck hour and big bubble.
Caseback is original, stamped 6610 and I.56 inside.
Movement is original Cal. 1030
Watch comes on vintage leather strap with steel generic buckle.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch runs well with strong amplitude.
