6536/1 reference numbers “James Bond” Small Crown Sub
229,7XX serial number circa very early 1957 production
Excellent vintage condition case with very thick and even lugs. Original bevels are clearly visible on lugs. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible. No major dings or dents.
A very attractive dial is excellent early service replacement with silver chapter ring and print, matte. Very attractive yellow patina and matching tritium hands. No damage on dial, no corrosion, no spotting.
Bezel is original, brass with newer insert has aged to gray/purple hues.
Caseback is original, stamped 6536/1 and I.57
Watch comes on unworn vintage leather strap with steel buckle.
