SOLD 1958 Rolex Datejust 6605 Serpico Y Laino in Steel and Rose Gold

Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in steel and 14kt rose gold

353,XXX serial number circa early 1958 production

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. No corrosion or pitting. Serial and reference numbers are intact and visible. 

Original “+” rose gold Rolex winding crown

Dial is extremely attractive matte, non-luminous, white SWISS only, signed Serpico Y Laino with rose gold applied plots. Hands are original, rose gold, dauphine. Date disk is correct and original “roulette” with alternation red and black date numbers. 

Bezel is original, rose gold fluted in excellent vintage condition

Caseback is original, stamped on the outside with: “S&L ACERO Y ORO 14k”. This engraving is still clearly visible. Inside is stamped 6605 and I.1958

Watch comes on vintage leather strap with generic steel buckle.
