Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in 18kt yellow gold
6605 reference 36mm
460,XXX serial number circa 1959 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and visible. Very nice and crisp fluted bezel.
Dial is original, SWISS only, pie-pan that has aged to an even, spotted texture. Original arrow head applied markers, original daphne hands, original roulette date disk with alternating red and black numbers.
Caseback is original. Stamped 6605
Comes on leather strap with yellow gold Rolex buckle.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
