5508 reference

Superb vintage condition case with extremely thick and original finish lugs and bevels. Very clean case with no corrosion or pitting. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and very clearly visible with no damage.
Dial is excellent original gilt gloss. Mirror gloss finish and damage free. No chipping, drag marks, etc. The top layer of lacquer has fully crazed and is only visible under an angle creating a very attractive effect in person. No relume, no refinish, no touch-ups. As you can see in some pictures, the dial has a dark chocolate brown tone to it. This is not extremely vivid, but beautiful under certain light.
Bezel insert is a very beautiful ghost brown long 5

Correct and original 1530 movement appears to be in excellent physical and mechanical condition with original butterfly rotor.

No documented service history.
