This is a very important watch with “Eagle Beak” crown guard case
The case is in exceptional condition with very sharp and clearly defined crown guards. Very fat and clearly defined lugs with original chamfers. Serial and reference numbers are very clear and fully intact. Some pitting can be observed under the caseback. Original twin lock crown.
Dial is SWISS only chapter ring and has aged and faded. Geiger counter plenty of radium activity. Hands are gilt and original with big bubble seconds hand.
Bezel insert is a tropical brown long 5 in excellent condition
Caseback is correct and original, stamped 7928 and IV.59
Watch comes on an unworn vintage leather strap with steel buckle.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
