Up for grabs is a Rolex Tudor Submariner Big Crown
7924 reference
292,XXX serial number circa around 1959 depending on which serial list you are looking at.
Excellent vintage condition case. Lugs are thick and even. Original bevels have been brushed over during past service, but could be brought back by experienced shop. No corrosion and practically no pitting. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible. There is no typical bracelet wear.
Original BREVET 8mm “Big Crown” is in excellent condition.
Bezel is original with “ghost” faded Kissing 4 insert with tritium pearl.
Caseback is excellent, stamped IV.1958 with no engraving on outside.
Movement is correct rhodium cal. 390 in excellent condition.
Dial has obviously been refinished and luminova hands.
Watch currently runs and winds smoothly, however, no service history is documented.
