Up for grabs is an Omega Seamaster 300
14755-61 reference with 12-3-6-9 radium dial and hands
182604XX serial number
This watch came out of semi-local estate sale recently. I do not know the history of the original owner, but I do know that nothing has been put together, added, or subtracted from who it was originally found. It wasn’t running well when found, so a basic service has been performed. I do not believe anyone has touched it before based on condition of dial, hands, and lack of any other watchmaker marks on inside of caseback.
Case is in excellent vintage condition with defined lugs. No corrosion or pitting or any notable dings or dents.
The dial is in fantastic vintage condition. Very nice orange patina throughout with matching hands. No evidence of relume. No chipping, no scratches, no corrosion or bubbling. Original white seconds hand.
The bezel is awesome. It is original with radium luminous, its partially intact but ORIGINAL bakelite. Crystal is original, skinny logo in center. Crown is original, skinny logo.
Caseback is fantastic with very crisp engraving. Inside is stamped 14755-61.
Movement is clean, cal. 552. Runs very smooth, timekeeping within -1/0 seconds, 290+ amplitude.
Bracelet is original, 7077 with 2.61 date and “6” end-links.
No box or papers.
