1806 reference with factory Morellis finish on case and bezel
931,XXX serial circa 1963 production
Excellent vintage condition with thick and even lugs. Morellis finish is very defined and sharp. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original and period correct pie-pan SWISS only. All luminous plots are fully intact. Hands are original and period correct dauphine with matching tritium. Spanish day disk and original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bezel is in excellent vintage condition. Sharp finish and original bevel. Its not worn down or polished down.
Caseback is original, stamped 1803
Watch was found on South America jubilee style Rolex 18kt bracelet. The clasp is signed with Rolex crown, inside clasp blades are just stamped 18k. Personal engraving out outer blade with initials. Bracelet shows wear and stretch and fits a large wrist around 8″. The bracelet does not have Morellis finish, but believed to be original to the watch from South American market given the Spanish Day disk, as well as me sourcing from South America. This watch is presented as found with exception of newly installed crystal. Bracelet is heavy, weighs 72.4 grams.
