Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon, Pre-Pro “Straight lug”
105.003 reference, so-called “Ed White”
228240XX serial number circa 1964 production
Very good vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. No dings, dents, or deep scratches. No corrosion.
Dial is tropical brown with faded upper right side. It got “the look” and looks awesome in person. We’ll call this one the “young moon” Speedy with the way it has aged 🙂
Bezel is original DON with signs of wear from age
Caseback is in very good condition. No major scratches or tool marks. Very defined Seamonster on outside. Inside is stamped 105.003-64
Comes on brown vintage leather strap
No box or papers. No documented service history. Chronograph runs, totalizers work, stop and reset back to 0 as should.
