Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster
105.003 reference cal. 321, pre-moon, pre-professional, straight lug.
228249XX serial number circa 1964
Excellent condition case is free of major dings or dents. No deep scratches. Case has certainly been polished before, but lugs are still defined and in excellent vintage condition. No corrosion or pitting.
Dial is excellent, original pre-pro with applied logo. This dial is correct for 105.003 with “close spaced” T SWISS MADE T. Luminous material appears to be tritium in consistency and aging. Hands appear to be original with similar aging of luminous material.
Excellent bezel with nicely faded Dot Over 90 bezel insert. Crystal is aftermarket replacement.
Caseback is excellent, correct double step. Seamonster engraving is crisp and fully visible. Inside is stamped 105.003 – 64
Watch comes on a black leather strap with white stitching and generic steel buckle. Watch also comes with correct and what appears to be original Omega 7912 bracelet. It is in excellent condition, stamped 3-64 date, fits a large wrist. It is missing end-links. This bracelet would come with “6” stamped ends, but generic ones can also be purchased and work with the watch.
No boxes or papers. No documented service history, but inside of caseback has watchmaker’s marks which indicate overhaul done in 2013. Watch runs well, chrono runs and resets.
