SOLD 1965 Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon Pre-Pro Straight Lug 105.0

Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster

105.003 reference straight lug, pre-professional, pre-moon watch

254497XX serial number circa 1965

Excellent vintage condition without any major dings, dents, or deep scratches. Lugs are even and nicely defined with good edges. No corrosion or pitting on case. 

Dial is excellent original tritium with applied logo. Luminous material has aged to a nice yellow patina. Hands appear to be original. There are no marks, scratches, bubbling, or uneven aging on dial. Any “imperfections” you see in pics, are on the crystal and not the dial. Winding crown has been replaced in past, which is common during service.

Bezel insert is excellent DO90 with light fade from age. No significant dents or dings on bezel. 

Caseback is excellent with crisp Seamonster on back. Stamped 105.003 – 65

Movement is in excellent physical condition and runs well with good amplitude. That being said, I do not know the service history and it may or may not need one soon. The chronograph function runs and resets as should.
