Up for grabs is a Rolex Chronograph “Pre-Daytona”
6238 reference with silver dial
1.22 million serial number last production circa 1965 with caliber 722 movement
Excellent vintage condition with no major dings or dents. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible. No corrosion or pitting. Thick and even lugs.
Dial is in excellent condition, original. No refinish or relume. Most luminous plots have chipped off over the years. Na notable scratching, chips, corrosion or else. Hands are original, tritium.
Caseback is original and stamped 6538
Bracelet is a Rolex USA Jubilee and fits a large wrist around 8″
Watch winds and runs well. Chronograph runs, resets back to 0 and both pushers are “crisp” while being used.
