Up for grabs is a vintage Rolex Submariner
5512 reference
1.3 mil serial number circa 1965 production
Excellent vintage condition case with no dings or dents. No corrosion or pitting. Very thick and even lugs with original bevels still evident. Thick and even crown guards. Original twin-lock crown. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and visible.
Dial is beautiful 4-line silver SCOC gilt. Very glossy and mirror like. Original tritium plots with creamy yellow patina and matching tritium hands. Seconds hand has aged to a darker color. Interesting and beautiful even tropical spotting throughout the dial we will call stardust effect. No chipping, no scratching, no corrosion on dial.
Excellent and original Long 5 insert with matching to dial tritium pearl.
Caseback is original. Stamped 5513 and IV.65
Watch comes on vintage leather strap with steel buckle.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Runs, winds, and keep time well.
