Up for grabs is a Rolex Tudor Submariner
7928 reference with cal. 390 movement, no-date
570,XXX serial number circa 1966 production
Excellent vintage condition case without any major dings or dents. Thick lugs with original bevels still evident. No corrosion or pitting. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, rose with silver print and gilt minute track, glossy finish is correct for this time period. Nice yellow patina throughout. Hands were matched to the dial. There is spidering/cracking in glossy finish around 6 o’clock, only visible at an angle.
Original twin-lock crown.
Bezel insert is serif font, cracked at the pearl.
Caseback is original, stamped 7928 and VI.66
Watch comes on unworn vintage leather strap.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
