Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner in steel
5513 reference, Meters First dial
1.9 mil serial number circa 1968 production
Excellent vintage condition with thick and even lugs and crown guards. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, matte Meters First. Based on some wavy application, I believe the plots have been relumed at some point as seen in macro pictures. Dial itself is original, not refinished. Very attractive in real life and on wrist.
Caseback is original, stamped 5513 and IV.68
Bracelet is Rolex 9315 folded link, fits a normal size wrist, B date code and PATENTED diver’s extension.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch runs and winds well.
