7016/0 reference
623,XXX serial number circa 1968 production
Excellent vintage condition case with very thick and even lugs with strong bevels. Sharp and even crown guards. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and visible.
Dial is original rose with gilt minute track and silver print. Dials shows aging, matching patina to hands and lots of character. The tritium around the plots is aging the dial to a brownish color. Original hands with lollipop seconds hands which is often seen to be replaced on these watches.
Very nice insert has faded to a grayish/blue “ghost” shade.
Caseback is excellent with crisp engravings.
Watch has been serviced in December 2014 by Rik Dietel. Service invoice for $850 and remaining 1 year warranty will be transferred to the new owner.
Comes on tan NATO style strap.
No box or other papers.
