145.022 reference pre-moon with caliber 861 movement

296098XX serial circa 1969 production

Excellent vintage condition case shows age and wear, but still very defined case with correct finish. No corrosion or pitting. No major dings or dents. 

Dial is fantastic and extremely attractive tropical brown with very apparent color. You can clearly see even in shade it is brown in the pictures. Nice yellow patina on plots. Correct step-dial. Hands appear original, with dark aged tritium. 

Bezel is a very attractive DON with nice grayish fade. 

Caseback is original with very clear Hippocampus engraving and stamped 145.022-69 inside. 

Watch comes on unworn vintage leather brown strap with steel buckle. 

No box or papers. No other accessories. Watch has been serviced within past year and runs very well. Please NOTE that the hour totalizer in the pictures is slightly off from zero marker. It is NOT stuck. I ran the chrono for a while and reset it since taking pictures and it reset back to zero exactly. Chrono runs and resets as should.
