Up for grabs is a Heuer Daytona in steel

reference 110.203 B, this is a cal. 12 self-winding mechanical watch, 39mm case

Serial number would probably date it to around 1978-1979 production

Excellent vintage condition case without any major dings or dents. Winding crown is signed Heuer and appears original, pushers are correct and original, beveled.

Dial is a very attractive color-changed “tropical brown” with very attractive orange patina on hands and dial. Though its not showing up in pictures well, the inner bezel also has a nice brown shade to it in person. Please note these pictures are taken outside, under overcast skies, without any artificial lighting.

Caseback is original, in excellent vintage condition. All numbers are very crisp and fully intact.

Bracelet is original, in excellent vintage condition, fits about a 7.5″ wrist and signed Heuer on clasp.

No box or papers. No documented service history. The watch winds and runs. the chronograph, when engaged, advances only a few seconds and then stops. The reset button works and it goes back to zero. There is “gasket melt” between caseback and case, indicating untouched state for a long time. That being said, the timegrapher shows +11 seconds per day at around 250 amplitude.
