Up for grabs is a Heuer Autavia Viceroy
1163 V reference
271,2XX serial number circa probably 1973
Excellent, nearly NOS, vintage condition. Very sharp case with original finish and clearly defined bevels. No corrosion or pitting. Very crisp, damage free, and fully intact numbers on case.
Dial is original, “economy” Viceroy with brushed hands. Excellent vintage condition with all lume plots intact. Acrylic crystal appears original with a few scratches. Dial is flawless: no chips, scratches, spotting, etc.
Bezel is original and is in excellent vintage condition. Damage free insert.
Original and correct Heuer crown and pushers.
Bracelet is a Hadley Hong Kong and fits about a 7.75″ wrist. Excellent vintage condition with HLD end-links.
Caseback is in original condition with correct stamps inside. Very clean.
Extremely clean movement, no corrosion between caseback and case, no gasket melt. There are no “watchmaker marks” inside caseback and no obvious tool marks on outside of caseback. I do not believe this watch has ever been opened before me, therefore kept in very original condition, but also never serviced.
It winds, it runs, chrono runs and resets with “crisp” feel on pushers, and it runs within +15 seconds per day. No box or papers.
