Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in 18kt yellow gold
6917 reference
6.2 mil serial number circa 1979 production with papers dated in 1981
Excellent vintage condition case is thick and even with very defined lugs. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Original champagne dial with original hands and date disk. Nice patina on plots. Acrylic crystal has some scratches, as expected.
Bracelet is solid gold Lady President with 6 screws, fitting a normal sized woman’s wrist comfortably. Shows stretch from use as seen in pics, but nice and dent-free overall.
Watch comes with original Rolex boxes, manuals, punched warranty papers, 1981 Rolex calendar, polishing cloth, hang tag sticker with serial number.
This watch has been found locally, picked up from original owner. She said it has been back to RSC a few times, but no paperwork has been saved. Watch currently runs well and requires on attention.
