SOLD 1979 Rolex Day-Date 18038 Walnut Dial

Up for grabs is a Rolex Day-Date in 18kt yellow gold.

18038 reference single-quickset with factory Walnut wood dial

6.3 mil serial number circa 1979

Excellent condition case with thick and even lugs. No dings, dents, or scratches. Lugs are very defined with sharp edges. Serial and reference numbers are intact and very crisp. 

Dial is excellent Walnut Wood in excellent condition. No cracking, chips, or other damage. Correct date disk with open 6’s and 9’s. Please note a small chip on crystal at 1 o’clock edge. 

Bracelet is excellent, fully linked with correct D date stamp, 55 stamped ends, 1 extra link to fit a large wrist and light stretch from use.

Caseback is engraved as this watch was evidently a gift to original owner in 1980. Can be removed prior to shipping to you, or left as is. 

No box or papers, no other accessories.
