Up for grabs is a Rolex Sea-Dweller
16660 reference “triple 6” with glossy dial
8.7 mil serial number circa 1985
Very good vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. The case appears to not have been polished in past with original bevels and sharp crown guards. I cannot guarantee this, obviously, but evident suggests so. Serial and reference numbers are intact and crisp.
Dial is excellent tritium with eggshell white patina on plots and hands. Dial is glossy and appears to start turning matte. Does not have typical spidering effect. Correct date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bezel insert appears to be original with tritium pearl.
Bracelet is Rolex 93160 with 11 links, 592 ends, slight stretch from use, appropriate I4 date stamp on clasp.
Watch just went through a pressure test, new gaskets and new crystal installed. No box or papers. No service history. Currently runs at COSC with no service required.
