Up for grabs is an Urban Jürgensen Reference 3 in rose gold.
Introduced in 1993 as the successor to the Reference 2, the Reference 3 is one of the most important modern Urban Jürgensen wristwatches. Its defining evolution was the addition of a power reserve indicator, designed and patented by Derek Pratt. Production was extremely limited, with approximately 100 examples planned across all metals.
The 38mm rose gold case features individually forged and soldered teardrop lugs, a hallmark of the reference. The silver dial showcases a hand-executed guilloché center by Derek Pratt, framed by a Roman numeral chapter ring with day and month apertures, date, moonphase, and power reserve display.
Powering the watch is the automatic Calibre FP 71 with 45 jewels.
The watch is fitted on an aftermarket brown leather strap with the original rose gold UJ pin buckle.
This watch comes complete with UJ boxes, manuals, and warranty papers with matching numbers.
