1966 Rolex Submariner ref. 5512 “Gilt/Gloss 4-Liner”

1.47 mil serial number circa early 1966 production

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and crown guards. Previously repolished. Numbers are legible.

Dial is original 4-line gilt with very glossy surface and perfect plots and patina. Minor lacquer degradation by base of hands and outer edges as seen only under certain angles and up close. The watch shows off very well with beautiful patina.

Serif font bezel insert with fading and scratches.

Caseback is original, stamped 5513 and dated I.66

The bracelet is Rolex 9315 with 380 ends, 11 links, from 1973-1974 production.
