BA 145.022-69 reference in solid 18kt yellow gold
291171XX serial number circa 1969 production
This is a limited production piece with only 1,014 watches ever produced. The first 32 watches went to astronauts, politicians, and other personalities. The other examples were sold to the public and numbered. This is example number 892 as stamped on caseback.
Superb condition case is very very crisp, it looks 100% unpolished and damage free.
Original dial is correct and original, there is some residue on dial, it appears to be oil/lubricant possibly happened during past service and spilt from movement onto the dial. It is not rust or water damage. I believe it could be cleaned up to an extend. Dial is not refinished. Hands are original and correct.
Beautiful original wine colored DON bezel is in nearly flawless condition with exception of ding at 150 mark.
Superb condition caseback fully colored in engravings and without any major damage or wear. Inside is correctly stamped 145.022 69
Original mini skinny logo crown and original pushers.
The bracelet is original, solid gold Omega reference 1116 is fully linked and fits an 8″ wrist. No major wear, damage, or signs of polishing.
