Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon
145.022 reference
291155XX serial number circa 1969 production
Excellent vintage condition case is clearly unpolished with original finished.
Dial is original, step, in flawless condition. You can see it is starting to turn tropical brown on edges of the step and subdial. Hands are original. No relume, no refinish.
Original DON bezel is in very good condition.
Bracelet is also original, Omega 1039 with 516 ends and ’70 date stamp. Excellent and tight condition.
Caseback is in excellent condition, appears unpolished. No tool marks. Inside is stamped 145.022-69
While considering this watch, please consider the current market prices for some of the parts alone. The DON, for example, is often seems to be taken off these 861 pre-moons to be sold separately and the 1039 bracelet sells for about $2k as well.
