Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer 1
1016 reference
2.1 mil serial number circa early 1969 production
Excellent vintage condition case with sharp lugs. No dings or dents. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, tritium, with extremely attractive patina. Dial is damage free, but there is some oil staining on edge of dial. This is only visible under macro shots and not on your wrist. Hands are tritium and original with cracking in lume.
Caseback is original, stamped 1016 and II.69 inside.
Bracelet is a Rolex folded link 7836 with 12 links, ’70 date code, 258 ends.
No box or papers. No documented service history, but the watch currently runs well within COSC specs.
