Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date in steel
1680 reference
2.6 mil serial number circa 1970 production
Excellent vintage condition with thick and even lugs. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is flawless and original MK4 Red Sub dial with nice cream patina on plots and original hands. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s. No relume, no refinish. Dial is free or spots, scratches, chips, or drag marks.
Nice and original bezel insert with tritium pearl matching to the dial.
Caseback was probably replaced during past service as it is stamped 1680, but without a date.
Bracelet is a Rolex 93150 with 12 links, moderate stretch from use, 580 ends, and U date code.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
