Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer
5504 reference. This is a 36mm watch.
372,XXX serial number circa 1958 production
Very good vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. No corrosion or pitting. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is a SWISS only, chapter ring SCOC Explorer that had faded and aged to a ghost gray colors. Very unique and attractive in pictures and in person. Hands are gilt.
Caseback is original, stamped 5504 and II.1958
Watch comes on a vintage leather NATO style strap.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
