Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer 2
1655 reference
7.0 mil serial number circa 1981 production
Excellent vintage condition case has been polished before, but still retains nice chamfers and thickness of lugs and crown guards. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original, tritium MK5 variation in flawless condition with light cream patina on plots. The hands are service replacement and still glow in dark. Date disk is original with open 6’s and 9’s.
The bezel is a service replacement in excellent condition.
Caseback is original, stamped 1655 inside.
Bracelet is a Rolex 78360 with 580 ends and 11 links. Date code is I, which should be period correct for this watch. Tight condition.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
